THE ULTIMATE CHALLENGE
What is it?
The first major fund raiser for the charity Heaven Can Wait I'm Busy. Four guys in their 70's have a plan. An amazing journey, The Ultimate Challenge. They will drive around the world in Suzuki Jimnys. Why would they want to take on a project of such magnitude, a project that would be physically demanding for men half their age? To show that age is no barrier to getting up and getting on with living life and giving something back to society while they still have time.
Enduring hardship and confinement, no luxury, no frills, just four old guys living in two little basic Suzuki Jimnys for nearly five months. Covering a staggering 26,500 miles through sixteen countries, three continents and across two oceans, capturing the entire experience of a lifetime in film. Will they have the stamina and determination to see the journey through, the ability to manage and overcome the daily situations they will undoubtedly face – the camera will capture it all.

While We Have Time – The Film
Les and his team wanted a way to provide continuing fund raising opportunities long after The Ultimate Challenge was complete. The film While We Have Time was born. The preparation of men and vehicles, the bonding of the crew as they train for their challenge, the journey itself where they will meet VIPs in various countries, visit children's hospitals, hospices and orphanages, all will be captured on camera. No holds barred, the highs, the lows, the day to day activities, the things that go wrong. The bonding of a team, or maybe not …. until the journey's end in September. It should provide a highly entertaining film to be sold to TV companies and released on DVD to provide longer term fund raising opportunities.
The film is being produced by Viewpoint Productions of Southampton www.viewpointproductions.tv
